55. Israel Newbery 23 (Henry37, John22, John20, Henry10, William2, Thomas1) died in 1828 in Skippack Twp. Montgomery County, Penn. and was buried in 1828 in Lower Skippack Mennonite Church.

Israel Newbery's will:
Israel's will was written in "one thousand eight hundred and ten" however it wasn't proved until October 25th, 1828 after his death. In the will he referenced his wife, Isabella, who at this point was deceased, and his two daughters, "Rebekah and Ann wife of Joseph Lowry".

Israel married someone.

His children were:

   76 F    i. Rebekah Newbery .

   77 F    ii. Ann Newbery .

Ann married Joseph Lowry.

73. Jesse Newbery (John50, William23, John20, Henry10, William2, Thomas1) was born circa 1735 in Unknown Location and died circa 1792 in Bladen County, North Carolina about age 57.

Excerpts from Jesse's will provide information about the original will date and his son's names: 30
"In the name of God Amen. I Jesse Newbery of Bladen County in the State of North Carolina,
Planter, being weak in Body but of sound mind and memory (blessed be God) do this fourteenth day of
April in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty six make and publish this my last
Will and Testament...
...give to my son John Newbery the lower part of the Plantation whereon I now live...
...I give and bequeath unto my Son Isaac Newbery and to his heirs and assigns forever my upper Sawmills with the Pond and which other requisites...
Also mentions James and Benjamin, Jesse's two youngest sons, receiving land and money, and, establishes James' age
...the 23 Day of January Anno. Dom. 1787 at which my Son James will arrive to the age of Seventeen years and enters into the Executorship with my Son Issac Thereby Intrust them Jointly together...
Also, Jesse's father's name:

...I give to my grand son John Liget Two Hundred acres of land being the same whereon my father
John Newbery last lived...
Daughters Elisabeth Carver, Deborah Rieves were mentioned as well as Grand daughter Mary Liget, daughter of my daughter, Mary Liget, deceased."

Jesse married Deborah. Deborah died circa 1786.

Children from this marriage were:

   78 F    i. Elizabeth Newbery was born in 1761 and died in 1804 at age 43.

Elizabeth married Robert Carver. Robert was born in 1755 and was christened in 1797.

Elizabeth next married Samuel Wilson.

+ 79 M    ii. Isaac Newbery was born in 1763 in Bladen County, North Carolina and died in 1818 in Cumberland County, North Carolina at age 55.

   80 F    iii. Mary Newbery was born in 1765 and died in 1786 at age 21.

   81 M    iv. John Newbery was born in 1767 and died in 1807 at age 40.

   82 F    v. Deborah Newbery was born in 1770.

+ 83 M    vi. James Newbery was born on 23 Jan 1770 in Cumberland County, North Carolina and died Jul 1793 ? in Cumberland County, North Carolina at age 23.

   84 M    vii. Benjamin Newbery was born in 1774 in Cumberland County, North Carolina and died in 1840 in Cumberland County, North Carolina at age 66.
